So, I finally finished the Crossfire series by Sylvia Day. Here is my review.

Blurb: From the moment I first met Gideon Cross, I recognized something in him that I needed. Something I couldn’t resist. I also saw the dangerous and damaged soul inside – so much like my own. I was drawn to it. I needed him as surely as I needed my heart to beat. No one knows how much he risked for me. How much I’d been threatened, or just how dark and desperate the shadow of our pasts would become. Entwined by our secrets, we tried to defy the odds. We made our own rules and surrendered completely to the exquisite power of possession.
Reviews: It was the covers that first attracted me to these novels. They look great. I read the series, as I’d heard some good reviews. The books focus on Gideon and Eva’s journey together, and the past / demons that they must overcome to have a successful relationship. The writing is extremely descriptive, and well written. The steamy sex scenes will satisfy fans of erotica, and E.L James. The only thing I didn’t like about these novels were the characters constant need for reassurance, and lots of dialogue during sex. It got a little tiring. Throughout the novel, they kept telling one another that they ‘needed each other,’ ‘I needed him as surely as I needed my heart to beat,' 'the sun was shining behind you and I thought you couldn't possibly be real,' 'I've captured an angel.' Gideon was a little too cheesy for me with the lines that he came out with, but some girls seem to like this sort of stuff, maybe it's because i prefer bad-boys, rough and rugged, a little hard to get LOL! But all in all, an enjoyable read. Sylivia Day is an extremely talented writer when it comes to descriptions, setting the scene, and creating broken characters that you will root for.
